The coat of arm of the town is carve over the main door and the architect’s name is visible on the lintel, Angelo da Orvieto.

Over the other door the carved figure of “justice” can be seen. The façade has been created from rustic ashlar work using local sandstone. There is an impressive entrance hall and the vault is sustained by two strong, original pillars. Continuing up the wide staircase we enter the Sala Del Consiglio and see pieces of frescoes and several roman epigraphs that give us an idea of what of was like in the Tibernum Tiberis.
