An important part of the culture heritage of the town  in the Tipografia Grifani Donati . It was established in 1799 and is the only remaining example of an old printing works in Città di Castello that sill exists. There has been a printing industry in the area since the sixteenth century and the Museo delle Arti Grafiche allows us to rediscover old-fashioned printing methods. The Grifani Donati has been a family industry for over 200 years and since it was enlarged it includes stone lithography, book-binding and restoration.

It is an important reference point for all the craftsmen who want to use traditional  methods like lithography, xylography, etching, dry point an linocuts, for reproducing their works. There are machines from diverse period all in full working order sometimes interesting exhibitions are held.
